What about us?

In the 2008 election, democrats ran a campaign for change.  Well, guess what, change is what we got.

It was only September when the national unemployment rate climbed to a record 9.8%.  Here in Fayette county, unemployment was recently recorded at 7.4%.  Although the lowest unemployment rate in the state, job growth is still negative.  The climate is still bad for business and our elected leaders fail to act. 

We need leaders in congress who represent our values here at home.  What about us?  Lexington was recently ranked as one of the best places to launch a small business.  What if our elected leaders at the federal level embraced this?  What if, instead of limiting growth by spending, our leaders embraced growth and fought for it.  What if they got it:  you can’t spend your way out of dept.
