Fayette County GOP to host Saturday breakfasts

Beginning in April, the Republican Party of Fayette County will begin hosting a series of monthly Saturday morning breakfasts. The breakfasts will provide fellowship for fellow conservatives and provide an opportunity to hear from party leadership, elected officials and notable community leaders.
The first breakfast is scheduled for April 11, 2009. It will be held at the Hilton Suites at Lexington Green, 245 Lexington Green Circle. Breakfast will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the program will be go from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. The cost is $10. RSVP is required by April 8 to 859-254-3532 or rpfc@windstream.net. Please give your name and the number of people in your party.
State Rep. Stan Lee will provide opening remarks and a legislative update. Conservative radio talk show host Leland Conway, of 630 WLAP, will address the current threat to our freedom of speech by the reinstatement of the “Fairness Doctrine”, among other conservative issues of the day.
